Work - Pay day! Took the kids down to Sparks street to watch a busker performance!

Came home and headed over to the apartment to do the final cleaning. Came home with quiznos and watched the rest of One Week with Em.

Is Summer finally here?

Work - took the kids to Landsdowne. After much confusion, finally discovered the market didn't open till 1. Went to the pool/park. came back around to the Market afterwards. Bought some corn for snack and dinner!
came home - decided not to go to class. Walked to Rogers and then the grocery store. made sausages on the bbq with mom then watched a couple episodes.

work - plant bath. Hda the car so I went home for lunch. giant thunderstorm. Took the car straight from work and went to Dad's to drop off some stuff. Picked up subway and went to Matt's.
Llew, Ash, Matt and I headed off to the movies to see Transformers.
Came back to Matt's and hung around there chatting. Soooo tired. Headed home after saying goodbye to Llew for the last time.

Bliss

work - took the kids to the arboretum - mud-filled grass - had mud all the way up my legs and clothes. Climbed trees and rolled down hills

work - went to McNabb. saw lifeguards practicing saving people with pens stuck in their eyes. Came home then headed off to hockey. Good work out.
Went out to the west end. picked up my prescription then met Robyn at Tim Hortons.

NotMe: "Katie! Something is going on at Tim Hortons!"
Me: "What?"
NotMe: "it's turned into a trailer"

Hung out, chatted and then headed home.

Happy Birthday, Matt !

Woke up very early to start working on my essay. Did it until 3pm, had a shower, got ready and headed out to Matt's.
Helped Llew make his pizza. Lots of dough! Yummy. Cake time - everyone got extremely full and tired. Decided not to go to the movies, and hung out for a while then headed home.

Jesus

Woke up. worked on my essay then started packing like a mad woman.
took a load over to Mom's. Dad came over and the moving began. Moved everything to Mom's. then loaded up everything else and moved it to Dad's. Very hot and humid. I had the hair of a mad-woman.
Ordered pizza at Dad's, wolfed it down. Then headed back home.
Llew came over to hangout for a while. Headed to bed.

Emily in a box

work - arrived to find the preschoolers in the lunchroom because their room was flooded. CRISIS! (It poured the entire day) moved toys from the flooded room into the other room with my big rain boots. Preschoolers took over our room and we went up to our old Kindy room. Crazy day! - All the preschoolers were sent home at 12:30. We only had 4 kindy's and by 4pm there were 6 kids in the entire day care. Went home half an hour early.
Went to the library for a couple hours to work on my essay. Came home and hungout with Em then Laura came home with some friends. After much debate I decided to go over to Mom's to watch a couple episodes.
Home and Bed.

It tastes like Summer

work - went to the library for story hour. Randomly saw Amberlyn there.
walked to class. Afterwards I walked over to Mom's and had quesadillas then strawberries and whipped cream and watched prison break.

Catching flies by the River

Work - took the bus out to Andrew Hayden Park. Everyone fell asleep on the bus ride home.
Home - took the car out to Dads. Had dinner there then headed over to Matt's.
Matt, Llew and I took two cars out to go drop off Llew's car to get fixed.

NotMe: "Hey, look! it's Tyler. Should we stop and say hi?"
Me: "Yah!...wait..NO!"

Came back and headed out to the Oak with the plan to play pool. Didn't happen so we ended up doing a very easy word search, a hard Sudoku and a fun crossword.

Friday! Pay Day!
Went to EV tremblay with the kids. Swam in the pool and watched the o-train go by
Stopped by the quickee and the grocery store on the way home. Came home, made dinner.
Em called and I met her at the end of the street and went back to the grocery store with her.
Llew came over and we made our way to the Bluesfest.
Hung around there, sat on my very useful blanket, and watched some blues.
Made our way over to the main stage to watch Blue Rodeo.
Headed home afterwords. Llew eventually left and I went to bed. Very tired.

Went to Elgin St. where Mark said he saw a mob of people outside Al's Steak House. So we ran over and we discovered that Gene Simmons ans Shannon Tweed were having dinner. We staked ourselves out there and waited till they came out.
They went across the street to the bar and I ended up walking right behind them!
Mark had to leave after this excitement and then Pat Robyn and I went to Hooley's to get a beer.

I wonder what it'd be like to get oral sex from him...he could like be a foot away from you and looking at your while doing it. creepy...

Back to work. Too the kids to Plant bath and we played soccer, volleyball and parachute.
Windy day!
Came home and danced around Mom's kitchen to Jackson 5 with Emily.
Made a quick dinner then headed off to Hockey.
We won! Exciting game!
Mom and I came back home and ate a lot of ice cream and watched a couple episodes of PB

The Cockster

Woke up late again. Went grocery shopping with Mom then watched an episode of Prison Break
Headed home, had a quick shower and got ready. Robyn got there around 4:15.
We finished getting ready then walked to the Bluesfest.
Walked around. Met up with Ryan and watched some Bbq band.
Then it started to rain... he ran for shelter. We got yummy poutine..then it started to rain again.
Wind and freezing cold rain was drenching us as we huddled in our blanket in the middle of the field...
Robyn signed up for a blanket and I got my dad's sweater and we headed over to watch Estelle for a while.

Me: 'That's not my problem."

Bought Robyn and I mini donuts and downed a couple coolers.

Night Number Two

I'm half sick of shadows

Got up at 10 (after my mental alarm clock went off at 7:30)
Went to the grocery store in the thunderstorms. Came back, unpacked then set off to timmy's for coffee, as it started to pour once again.
Then lazed around for most of the day. Watched a two hour special on M.J.
Got ready and headed over to Mom's. We walked to the bluesfest.
Sat on a hill for a while drinking coolers, smoking cigars, and hiding from the rain under our umbrella fort.
Made our way to the stage, and got right up close!

Guitar Town

Work - preschool teachers going crazy trying to find the stupid hose key. I knew all along where it was but no one seemed to be able to find it.
Took the kids to plant bath. Ran around in the sprinklers again.
Came home, showered and then walked to the bank with Em. Had three bad things happen in about 10 minutes

Small, what the fuck is this, and purse broke

came back home and Llew was here waiting for me. We headed out and walked down to the festival. Chatted with Dad, got some beer, donuts, pizza, and free blankets! met up with Mom and made our selves comfortable for Steve Earle.

Work. Feeling a little better. Still have a bad cough. Took the kids to St. Lukes park. Swimming!

A Snake of Beads

Work. Went to plant bath. Kids ran around in the cold water. Then made animals and bracelets with the camp there.
Sick, sick, sick. I had a bad cough and today was the worst.
Eric started having a sneeze attack and then a bead came shooting out his nose. I couldn't stop laughing.
After work I went home then off to the bank then bought tickets for Bluesfest this weekend.
Walked to Rogers and rented the first disc of prison break.
It started to down pour...
Made it to mom's and we made yummy garlic pizza, watched the show.
Came home around 9 and drank some neocitrine and headed to bed.

Part 2 - refresher

Went to work in the rain. Stayed inside with the kids for the majority of they day. Did some dancing around with balloons and taught a couple of them to play checkers.
Came home in the rain. Grabbed something to eat quickly then headed off to class.
My nose was insanely stuffy and annoying throughout class...
Finally home. had a shower and watched the end of Harry Potter

Came back to Mom's and headed of to hockey.
Robyn and Pat came to watch. I got 2 assists.

Sun...finally
woke up. everyone heading home today. The Laportes left just after lunch. The rest of us spent some time in the sun and ANna and I braved the freezing cold water.
Emily had a friendly squirrel jumping on her.
Headed on home around 3:30, thankfully with some music.
Finally arrived and I met up with Robyn and Pat at Timmy's. We then decided to go to the beach to have a better view. This ended up being a bad idea as we got attacked by a whole lot of mosquitos. Sat in the car killing them and Robyn proceeded to smack me across the head.

Woke up nice and early. Listening in on Cottage chatter.

Excursion 2: went to the big sand pit to see the fox!

Dinner was eventful. 15 people vs. 1 black spider: Lots of screaming, flying chairs, flying bodies, and hysterics. In the end we won. (Thanks to Annik's watchful eye)
