Spoon Balloons

Went to work. Brought the kids to Dundonald Park.
Came back to Mom's and headed of to hockey.
Robyn and Pat came to watch. I got 2 assists.
Dropped by Rogers and rented harry potter then got quiznos for dinner.

Sun...finally
woke up. everyone heading home today. The Laportes left just after lunch. The rest of us spent some time in the sun and ANna and I braved the freezing cold water.
Emily had a friendly squirrel jumping on her.
Headed on home around 3:30, thankfully with some music.
Finally arrived and I met up with Robyn and Pat at Timmy's. We then decided to go to the beach to have a better view. This ended up being a bad idea as we got attacked by a whole lot of mosquitos. Sat in the car killing them and Robyn proceeded to smack me across the head.

Woke up nice and early. Listening in on Cottage chatter.
Pancakes and coffee
Pretty cold day out. No one really did much outside.
Played Scattegories

Tampooned = the joke of the weekend
Harpooned and typhoon.

It's not good being on the same brain wave as someone else during this game.

Also got a game of Rummie and Oh hell going on
Drove into town: Em, Anna, Pat, and Mel in our car. Nick and Annik in the other
3 second stops and a Taboo sounding horn
Made it to Metro. Picked up Naan, graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate, and booze
Came back and successfully avoided 30 foot holes in the road
Excursion 2: went to the big sand pit to see the fox!

Dinner was eventful. 15 people vs. 1 black spider: Lots of screaming, flying chairs, flying bodies, and hysterics. In the end we won. (Thanks to Annik's watchful eye)
After dinner - unsuccessful glow stick games
made the fire. Drank, played guitar (once it got dark enough) chatted
Walked up the road at 10:30 once we were forced off the property by sleeping tent people

Team Canada vs. Team Portugual ikea ball fight with the kids. Built forts and whipped the balls at each other
Home and pack and shower and hit the road!
no music - Mom, Em, Anna and I proceeded to sing, beatbox, rap and play games the entire way there

Canada Day in the Capital!

Got up. Brought Em's forgotten pouch to ther work. Met Mom. Walked down to the bank

Drove out to Matt's (after buying the last buns and hot dogs)
sat around. Bbq'ed. very hot out! played golf. played rummy

Drank some beer at mom's. Finally made out way to the Hill. Ran into Anne ( as if ) Then met up with Robyn and drama
went to Major's Hill park to watch the spectacular fireworks.

Ate lunch there and then made it back to the day care in the rain and one packed bus.
