Too cold for summer

Woke around 10:30 once again.
Walked down to Rogers and timmies to get a coffee.
Barb and Mom came home eventually. Chatted.
Then headed off to Staples with Mom and Em to find them some printers.

Back home to Mom leaving once again and Emily persuading me to go to Rideau with her.
Bought: One Tree Hill Season 6, Michael Jackson Live in Concert, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and a new PHONE!

The Texty Triplets

Home, shower and then off to meet up with Robyn.
Sat at Tim's then went to her house to uneventfully find hooker boots.
Heard bagpipes which was not a funeral.
Called Mark and he met up with us.

..and did nothing for the rest of the day.
Walked down to Starbucks in the freezing, windy rain.
Read on the couch for a while. Then watched, what I can only imagine was, 3 hours of SYTYCD
Concluded that there was nothing to do tonight, mainly because I don't have a penis.
Went out and got the four food groups and settled in front of the big screen tv.
Dark room, loud sound and Michael Jackson in concert...perfect.
Mom got home around 11:30pm and we watched our final episode of Prison Break.

Just a Stag

Work - Last freakin day! and it was stressful... Crazy Kids.
Home - Got ready and headed over to Dad's with Em for their last supper before she leaves.
Ham, Scalloped Potatoes, Corn on the Cob, and Salad.
Llew picked me up around 8. We headed downtown to pick up Matt and Ash.
Finally headed off to the party which really wasn't that good of a party.
Had some drinks, chatted, got offered a ride home, and then finally left.
Llew dropped me off at home and I went to sleep feeling more uneasy then before.

You Look Like a Donkey

Work - Took the kids to McNabb again.
Home - Had some dinner, relaxed.
Met Robyn at Timmy's and eventually Amanda too.
Got Iced Caps and then headed over to Hazeldean mall.
Spent some time in LaSenza, looking at bras, underwear and everything that is soft.
Robyn bought some purchases. Then we headed to stitches where I bought a shirt and recognized someone we didn't know.
Headed back to the cars and we all decided to go our separate ways.

Who's Under There?

Work - Took the kids to Cambridge Park. Treyson sliced his ear open on a metal screw and we all came back to the day care with a lot of bloody gauze.
Home - Walked Duffy and then headed to Hartman's to meet Jodie and Steve and pick up some things for dinner.
Got to her place and made Sangria and bacon pizza. Yum.
3 glasses of Sangria later and we chatted until 9:30.

A Forgotten Moment

Work - took the kids to Plant Bath. Nothing eventful...
Walked home and headed straight to JSP to meet up with Jodie. Sat out on the patio having some drinks and not eating fries.
I left around 7 and then Mom came to take her place.
I met Llew at my place and we hung out for a bit.

Me: "I am so going to quote you on that"
NotMe: "Nooo! Don't quote me!"

Touch my nectarines

work - got all the new kindys. Drilled them with rules about what it's like being up in the program.
Went to Mcnabb and played on the structure for a while.
Home - Dad picked me up for Hockey. Had a good game, had a lot of shots but couldn't get it by that goalie
Home - went and picked up some snacks and then came back and watched PB with Mom.

Me: "I always say I'm going to stay home and go to bed early, but now it's 11 o'clock..
Mom: "It's 11??!

Woke up, had breakfast and proceeded to look at a book for a very long time until we eventually were able to tear our eyes away from it.
Decided that it was hot enough to go swimming.
Had a fight about conditioner and the potential of my hair curling...
Finally had lunch [sandwiches are beautiful]
And then everyone headed off.
Car ride home was raining and uneventful. Came home and didn't do much, but discovered Titanic was on!
Eventually headed off and met up with Robyn briefly and then went to Matt's to say a quick welcome back to Llew.
Home and bed.

The Hump Shack

Woke up after a long and good sleep.
Had some breakfast and wondered where everyone was. Got informed.. then sat around and then headed over to the river with the current to see just how strong we are.
Drove back and had a sad daddy-long leg incident.
Sat out on the porch reading in the net chair, facing the wall...
Anna and I finally decided that we'd play cards.
Rummie! - I was failing miserably but ended up totally pulverizing Anna.

"You really can't do two things at once, can you..."

Ended the game and set the table for a yummy roast beef and turnip dinner. Mom made a fantastic blueberry and white chocolate pie. We were happy Mom managed to find the recipe which was lost in the most obvious spot.
Looked at some old pictures and then I went out for a drive with Nick around the lake.
He showed me the killer go-cart track which we concluded could be potential suicide..

NotMe: "we have to play it with all the cousins!"
Me: "I have a feeling this is going to be a potentially really disturbing game..."

Came back from the drive and Anna and I went into our room to do some face to face chatting.

I found it weird that he had his clothes on...
....Yah, he can't seem to get his off fast enough

Cottage Scenery

Work - Had a graduation party for the 6 kindies moving on to grade 1. Cake, muffins and pictures all around.
Spent 45minutes cleaning up the room and washing the floor...
Home, Packed and headed off to the cottage with Mom.
Good tunes, dinner, candy crisis and then finally a very confusing and panicky fifteen minutes concerning fog.
Arrived at the cottage around 9. sat in the living room and chatted, killed a giant bug and then headed to bed.

Vinegar Milk

Work - Couldn't go anywhere because it started to rain. Baked some Muffins for the party tomorrow. Then had our picnic lunch in the classroom.
Home - baked a lot of cookies. Got dinner and will be going to bed really early tonight.

Bike it up

work - decorated all the bikes then went for a ride
home - Jodie came over and we had dinner with mom. Vegetable Currie. Got on a rampage of talking and bitching about work and all its problems. Finally Jodie and I set off to the movie theater.

I was so worried about peeing on the seat that I peed on the floor!

Watched The Time Traveller's Wife. Not bad..book was so much better though!
Llew called to confirm his return home for two weeks.
After the movie went back over to Jodies for about an hour then home, shower and bed!

Purple Streak

Work - Went to westboro park. Thunder storms looked like they were coming in, so we didn't get to stay in the pool long.
Home - went out to Bayshore and shopped. Bought Emily and I a present - Ugly Dolls!
I also bought 3 pairs of flip flops and another pair of sandals.
Headed back home and then met Robyn, Pat and Nick at Dooleys.

NotMe: "did you think that was a pool stick?"
Me: "...please don't tell anyone."

Played one free hour then headed headed home. I had to drive Nick and the highway was closed..so it took us about an hour the back way to get to his house.
So tired. Bed

The Return

Work - headed off to Tricia's for a bbq with the kids. Had a few minutes of panic as Tricia forgot her house keys... luckily the back door was open...
Mom came into work to say Hello. Chatted with her and Jodie in the office for my lunch break.
Home - went to hockey alone. Got to play right wing and I got two goals!
Home and watched an episode of PB and then off to bed.

A New Chapter...for some

A Change of Scenery

Woke up at 9am.
Went down to get our free breakfast! mmm croissants..
Headed out of the hotel and back to the apartment.
Loaded everything up to the room, which was a lot easier than we though... although we were dying of heat.
everything was done by 12:30. Went and bought ourselves some lunch for the road.
Then headed off!
I drove all the way home again...
Got seperated from Dad on the giant Toronto highways... riding side by side on two different highways.. we all ended up in the same place though ha.
Finally home. Bed!... maybe a phone call first though.

T dot

Woke up at 7:30 and started packing. Dad picked us up, we all picked up the moving truck and then started loading.
Dad and Duff in the van, Em and I in the car. (I drove!)
Had to pee an abnormal amount of times on the 401.
Finally made it! Went to Emily's apartment, after experiencing Toronto traffic for the first time.
Waited outside the apartment with Duffy for what I believe was 3 hours..oh my god...
Many confusing and mixed up things going on with the apartment people that Emily had to deal with. FINALLY got the freakin key and everything paid for...
Got up to the apartment to discover the balcony was absolutely disgusting...
Left and went to the hotel. Soooo tired.
Got dinner at the Fox and the Fiddle downstairs. Yum!
Then headed back to our room, changed and went down for a swim. Hot tub was not working..bitches.. too many children.. but it was refreshing. Back upstairs.
In our beds watching Russel Peters.

work- yet another crazy day. Jodie was with me and we went with Christina and the kids to Mcnabb to swim. Hot Day! Had sundaes for afternoon snack - amazing.
Home. Met up with Robyn and we went to eat and had a couple beers and James street. Caught up on our lives and drama.
Home and watched a movie with Emily.

Work - Pay Day - things looking back to normal. Although my sickness is making its way around the day care.
Went to plant bath. Then did more water play in the afternoon - so hot!
Came home and finished my book outside. So Good!
Made dinner. Didn't make cookies.
Plaeyed some guitar and now it's time for bed

A Day by the Pool

Work - Christina was with me today. We took the kids to EV Tremblay and swam and had our picnic lunch.
Came home and then headed out to meet Jodie at JSP
Sat out on the patio for about five hours drinking beer and talking about everything imaginable.
Came home a little intoxicated and jumped into bed.

It's starting to look a lot like...my room!

Back to Work - Tricia wasn't there, so I was stuck with a sub who didn't really do much. Me on my own, woo! Stayed around the day care.
Came home and decided it was time to organize my room. Got my desk together and clothes away. Looking much better!

A Day to Recover

Woke up at 9am and started to study. I studied for the entire day.
At 5 I took off to write my FINAL EXAM!

and then it was done =) !
No School for a month! Hallelujah!
Home and bed.

Woke up (after 11 hours of sleep) feeling much better than yesterday.
Got up and started studying.
Studied...and studied. Then went and returned Dad's car and he drove me back home.
Studied some more. Took Duffy for a walk and continued to study.

We'll Never Know...

Woke up at 6am feeling extremely horrible.
Ran to the bathroom about 5 times...finally fell asleep for a bit. Got up at 11 to cancel my hair appointment. Went back to bed till 2pm.
Got up and came to the realization that I either have the stomach flu or food poisoning (footnote: see previous blog)
So I spent the entire day here (points above) watching bits and pieces of Friends, Interview with the Vampire, A Walk to Remember, Crossroads and Maid in Manhatten.
Em got me Popsicles and Ginger ale. And Anna and Sandra played the part of my Mom through MSN. (Thanks, guys)
Went to bed around 11.

"oh my god, we are SO cute!"

Work - First day without Mom. Jodie was in with me. Trying to teach the kids to do Miss Mary, had a laugh attack trying to remember the words.
Came home and Dad picked me up, we drove to his place, had dinner and then I left with the car so I could have it till Saturday.
Came home and studied a little, then finally decided to go out with the girls.

Me: "Where is everyone?"
NotMe: "I dunno...they probably aren't coming cause of this DAMN MUSIC!"
Me: "yesss....cause it's created a force field around our house?"

Jenn and Laura came by, then Nicole followed by Jenna then Amy and Natasha.
We got our drink on.
Headed out! Hooleys!
Were the only ones on the dance floor for a while... but we did some moon walking to Billie Jean.

Work - Momma's last day! Organized some surprises for her with the kids.
Took the bus to class - Last one! Now I have to study a ridiculous amount of things in 72 hours...
Stopped by the grocery store on the way home.

Bend Down Real Low

Hot Boy

Work - Took all the kids (preschoolers included) on a school bus to a blueberry farm!
Picked blueberries (while popping a few in our mouths) for the morning. Had a picnic lunch then headed back to the day care.
Drove home and read, then a giant fight broke up between my mom and Em. Finally got the car packed up (myself) and headed out to Dad's.
Delivered everything then Mom and I got some unhealthy McDonalds dinner and came home and watched Prison Break. Short interlude: went and bought phone minutes and tootsie pops. Then home for one last episode.

The Calm after the Storm

Work - took the kids to plant bath. Took some good pics with my new camera! (Too bad I can't post pictures of kids...)
Headed to class afterwards. Took the bus cause I was feeling lazy. Then it started to storm like mad and pour rain. So I got really wet.
Handed in my final paper. Second last class - woop!
Home to eat a massive plate of food that mom made for me - bbq steak, rice and corn/peas.
Mom refuses to watch PB with me tonight because it makes her too stressed before bed... maybe I'll read.

Woke up at 9, finishes off my book.
Then started cracking on the essay. Mom came home from the cottage around noon.
I finished off the essay around 3 then went off to Robyn's to print it. We then decided to go to Future Shop and Chapters where I bought a camera (!!!), a book, a waterbottle and a Michael Jackson magazine. Good buys.
Came home and headed off to hockey. We tied 1-1 and I got the goal! (quite pretty I may add)
Home. Shower. Dinner. Prison Break.

Body Burning

Woke up at noon.
went and got a latte.
read on the couch.
went to staples to ask about my printer.
Robyn and Pat came over and we went to the Busker Festival.
Saw three performances. The rain didn't help.
Came home and now going to enjoy a relaxing night.

The Wedding <3

Woke up pretty early. Read in bed and then played some guitar.
Em came home from her appointment then we started the process of getting ready.
Steph came and picked us up around 1:30 and we headed to the church for the wedding!
Beautiful - Em did her poem (she was great!) and they walked out a married couple.
Came home for a three hour break. Em went off to observe the picture session. I read outside and had a beer.
She came back around 6, we re-applied our makeup and left to go to the Marriott for the reception.
Walking over I almost broke my ankle twice and then waved at a wedding party in a limo that we didn't even know.
Got to the reception - chugged back three drinks in half an hour while they were still free.
Went down for dinner. Met everyone at our table.
The first dance and speeches were made throughout the courses.
We lit our table on fire...
Dinner ended and we got our drink and dance on.
Requested a song for Em =) and danced our asses off for the rest of the night.
